The NuScan 2100U handheld barcode scanner is a long range CCD scanner that is designed to offer an unsurpassed combination of flexibility and power. Its long range CCD sensor can read up to 12 inches away from barcodes and its 32-bit microprocessor with 330 scans per second provides a faster and more accurate performance than other CCD scanners in the market. The NuScan 2100U built-in decoder can read the majority of 1D barcodes in existence and offers a large variety of programmable settings; scanner configuration, data editing and barcode symbologies. The NuScan 2100U USB interface design and driver-less operation offers trouble-free compatibility with both Windows and Mac operating systems. Scanning Mode

Trigger Mode (Default)
The scanner becomes inactive as soon as the data is transmitted. It must be triggered to become active again.

Auto Scan Mode
In auto scan mode, the scanner is still active after the data is transmitted, but the successive transmission of the same bar code is not allowed when the trigger switch is pressed again.

Alternate Mode
This scanner will light up when pressing the scanner trigger switch once. Then the scanner will turn off for the next pressing.

Repeat Mode
This mode is similar to Auto Scan mode, but duplicate reading of the same barcode is prohibited if the scanner switch is pressed.
